About JCO destinations maintanence,Urgent

Dear All,

We have a problem in JCO destinations maintanence.

We have DEV & QAS R/3 system installed in the same server, In webdynpro content administrator, we config jco destinations, it works fine in connecting to DEV system, but when we maintain JCO destinations connecting to QAS system, we got error:com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Client 500 is not available in this system,500 is client of QAS ,if we change it into client of DEV, the connection works fine, but if fact, the message server is QAS. It seems that the netweaver system can not establish connection to QAS , it keeps connecting to DEV . We have maintained message server in SLD, DEV & QAS system have different system number(00 for DEV 00, 01 for QAS ).

Does anyone know if there is any further config to do? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Please check in your QAS system Whether it is running or not?

Check the entries like SID, Client no and Instance number while creation of JCo connections.

If it is running login to 000 client and goto SCC4 and check whether you have 500 client or not?

If not Create it and do client copy from 000 and test it again.(If you want only JCo connectivity with 500 client only). Other wise chek what are the clients available and make JCo connection with that client.

Suraj
