Precautions while client refresh ?

Hello. . .every one. . .

Please tell me how to do client refresh ?

and which precautions i have to take while doing client refresh ?

( I want to do refresh the client 009 in DEV )

Technical details:

One DEV with two clients 004 and 008 ( development and testing )

And PRD with 009 .

SAP4.7, MS SQL , Windows2003 Server

I recommend u take the backup or screen shots of file systems, client settings, user list of both source and target.

Mostly the refresh of clients will be happen at the time of development stage.

As recommend by SAP this need to carried out every 3mothses.
