Can I install XI and Portal on the same server?

Hi,

I am working on an application development which need s both XI and EP actively. Thats why I wish to install EP and XI on the same server.

I have the NW 2004s with me.

Just want to know the performance cosequences of this.

I have a 4GB ram system with Windows 2003 Server edition.

Please guide me!

Sure. It may seem a bit slow but you should be fine.

Hi Sumit,

Good. You have 2004s with you. The Installation of XI and EP with 2004s dump is easy compare with older versions.

You are having 4GB of RAM. that is sufficient for Installation of both in single host.

In 2004s Installation you will be having options of installing all componets in single shot.

Performance wise there is no problem because you are having 4GB of RAM.
