Billing plan at item level

Hi SAP gurus,

Can anyone let me know, the billing plan is activated at item level or at header level of sales document.

If I give billing plan at header level, item level billing plans are copied down. then what about if I assign billing dates for billing plan at item level. I have tried but, while billing, I am getting error message...

Please help.

Hello Praveen,

You can have the billing plan on the header and on the item level. Normally if you have the header billing plan, the item billing plan is assigned to header, so that the changes will be done on the header level and than copied (by the system to item). If you want to change the item billing plan independent from the header - you can delete the assignment between these plans - on the screen for the item billing plan just remove the flag - header billing plan.
