HOW TO TEST SRM-TO-R3 INTEGRATION?

hi

i have created CDM for srm and r3 using msg types: BBPIV,BBPCO,MBGMCR,ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT.

successfully created partner profiles both sides. it's SRM-sender, r3-receiver.

how to test this. i dont know real meaning of those mesages types.

in previously..if i have msg type: matmas in CDM (r3 to r3).

i used bd10 for transferring data(material master).

i this case what shall i do to test.

Do a normal trxn creating SC,PO, conf, Inv..

All these should get replicated in Backend for the material groups you hgave trasferred from R/3 ro SRM.

Hi

First Check SRM system Configuartion settings

Cross-Application settings -> Define objects in Backend systems. (Either create a PO, P Req, Reservation, etc..)

Based on that, Incase you use any SRM Local Product category (Material Group) in the shopping cart and once you order the Shopping cart, a Local SRM PO will get created.

Incase you use any R/3 Product category (Material Group) in the shopping cart and once you order the Shopping cart, then a R/3 PO will get created.

<u>To view an existing PO in SRM system, use the transaction BBP_PD.</u>
