hi,
to tranfer ur scenario from DEV to Quality You first need to export your scenario.
1. go to tools and select the export option. It will create a.tpz file in a directory.
This .tpz file will import by your basis guy to ur quality system..

Hi,
First, you have to start the SLD.
To transport business systems you must first of all create business system groups, then associate the business systems with the group and finally map your business systems.
To create a group, proceed as follows:
> Business Systems
> Click on the drop-down next to Group and select Edit Groups
> Create a group for each environment (eg DEV, TST, PRD). Specify for each group which Integration Server is used.
> If the group XISystemGroup (I suspect that this group has been created before via the SLD Administration / Content Maintenance Tool, isn't it?) is already present, just Remove it.
To assign business systems to a group, proceed as follows:
> Business Systems (Group = all)
> Select your Business System
> Click on the Integration tab.
> Select the related Integration Server (which is associated with a group - see step 1)
To map your DEV Business Systems to TST Business Systems etc., proceed as follows:
> Business Systems
> Select the group of your choice
> Select your Business System
> Click on Transport
> Click on Add/Change Target
> Select the Target Group and System

Dear Danny De Roovere,
My scenario is simple IDOC to File and viceversa. First phase of testing was carried out in development itself. The two business systems used were XIDDEV(XI DEV) and WSDCLNT101(R/3 DEV).
After this R/3 developments were moved to QUALITY environment. However XI developments were not moved to QUALITY environment and testing took place between XIDDEV(XI DEV) and WSQCLNT201(R/3 QUALITY).
Now i want to move my XI components to PROD Environment.
Also DEV and PROD have different SLD's.
Can u suggest me steps on how to go abt it?
regards,
Miten
Converting and Merging During Import
We recommend that you use one System Landscape Directory (SLD) that contains both the test and productive system landscapes. To import configuration objects into the productive directory from the test directory, you must define transport targets in the SLD. This means that test directory services, which are entered as business systems in the SLD, are assigned to the services of the productive directory, and dependent objects are converted. (see SAP Note 764393 for alternative SLD scenarios).

Make sure that your DEV, QA aand PRD has been setup.
