How to build a collective OVS search help ?

Hi, experts

I have a Business Partner field need a value help. Originally, I'm using "BUPA" which is an existing search help. But, it only provides BP ID as output, now I need the field can show the BP names but not their IDs.

I was told that an OVS can make it, but "BUPA" is a collective search help which contain more than 10 single search helps. How can I embeded these single search helps into my own OVS and make it a collective search help just like "BUPA"?

Any one can give me some detail instructions? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

try with creating a Z* copy of the standard search help and add the parameter u want , i think that will be easier.

But is there any way that I don't need to create a new search help and only use the OVS?

Hi Jaddy.

As Yashpal said, it is easier to copy the original search help and change it the way you need it.

With OVS, I am not sure how to do it, cause OVS is just for simple searches. You could combine all the helps with a freely programmed search help, but this will be a lot of work.
