To create a customer without SD involvement i.e. without Sales area assignment.
You can create customer with just the company code. You don't need to define sales organization, Distribution Channel, Division, Sales Area etc.
T.Code: FD01 is generally used by the Fi, MM consultants to create customers if the client has not implemented SD Module.
