Button doesn't trigger handler

Hi guys,

I'm new to adobe forms. Have such a problem:

We have WebDynpro application (callable object actually) which contains interactive adobe form and usual webdynpro button (not in form). It's intended to finish process step by click on this button (server side handler). But it seems that pressing on it doesn't initiate any server roundtrip for handling. What is the reasons and how we can overcome this? (Preferably without placing button into form itself)

I have the same issue and we desire the same. Also the button is placed outside the form....

Have you found out what could be a possible solution?

I couldn't find any note on this occurence.....

I've seen a problem with events not being triggered depending on whether yuo choose activex or native for your form - try swapping this around.
