Could u pls tell which are the main roles and authorizations a SAP XI Developer should have. Also how to set them up?

To set up roles in SAP ABAP stack use T/C code SU01 and in java engine

http://<ourservername>:<yourserver port>/useradmin -> to set u needto have admin rights

for developer

SAP_SLD_Developer

SAP_XI_Developer

SAP_XI_Developer_ABAP

SAP_XI_developer_J2EE

Hi Ashish,

please have a look at <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/05793c05f0807be10000000a11405a/frameset.htm">Roles and Tool Access</a>, especially at Roles for ABAP and Java Tools, these are the authorizations needed.

You can assign roles from transaction SU01.
