Hi All,

i am very much new to SAP and looking forward for a successful career in SAP SD.

I am very confuse in terms of what excatelly is the role of SAP SD consultant and what excat knowledge one has to gain to become a SAP consultant, As far as SAP software is concerned.

So, can any one please explain me, what are the topics one has to learn / Understand in configration of SAP SD module like. EA, Customer master, material master, pricing etc. and what are the best way's to gain knowledge on different working scenarios.

you have to learn the following

defigning & assigning organisational structures

partnership determination

customer account groups

assigning no ranges to customers

creation of customers

creation of naterial master records

pricing procedure

configuration of free goods determination, material listing and exclusion

sales document types like inquiry,quotation, order, cash sales , credit notes, debit notes, returns order etc.

item categories like TAN<TAS<BVN<

schedule line categories

consignment sales, third party order processing.

deliveries, posting the stock,

billing etc

you have to read glynn.c. williams book which will be quite helpful and regular practice and also regular visit to this forum where u can enhance u r knowledge
