I have few doubts plz help me in this regard

Q1 ) What is information system in Sap Easy access?what is the purpose of it

Q2) On which screen the real time consultant works on SAP Easy Access or on Sap img

03}Is generating reports a responsibility of sd consultant? What are the types of reports that a sd consultant prepares and how what is the navigation path for generating reports

Standard SAP SD Reports:=

Statistic Group:

Purpose – To capture data for Standard Reports, we require to activate Statistic Group as under:

--> Item category (Configuration)

--> Sales document type (Configuration)

--> Customer (Maintain in Master data)

--> Material (Maintain in Master data)

When you generate statistics in the logistics information system, the system uses the combination of specified statistics groups to determine the appropriate update sequence. The update sequence in turn determines for exactly which fields the statistics are generated.

Configuration:

IMG --> Logistics Information System (LIS) --> Logistics Data Warehouse --> Updating --> Updating Control --> Settings: Sales --> Statistics Groups -->

1. Maintain Statistics Groups for Customers

2. Maintain Statistics Groups for Material

3. Maintain Statistics Groups for Sales Documents

4. Assign Statistics Groups for Each Sales Document Type

5. Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Item Type .....

All Standard Reports which are available are as under:

The main purpose of it is report generation, as any business requires reports daily, weekly, monthly etc. depending on the scenarios. Reports can be sales reports, customer lists etc.

Q2) On which screen the real time consultant works on SAP Easy Access or on SAP IMG?

The SAP Easy Access is the screen where the end-user works i.e. uses T.Codes to carry out day to day business processes, whereas SAP IMG is the place where consultants do the customizing during implementation, trouble shooting etc.

Q3) Is generating reports a responsibility of sd consultant? What are the types of reports that a SD consultant prepares and how what is the navigation path for generating reports?

Most of the reports are generated from standard reports provided by SAP, apart from that if the client wants any customized reports that is not available then the functional consultant will provide technical data (field name, table name etc.)to the ABAPer who develops a reports based on clients requirement.

This is fthe place where you can see the standard reports.All LIS Reports will be available in this area.

All configuration & customization will be done on img-screen.and the master data maintenance will be done on easy access screen.

So many standard reports available in SAP. other than this If user require any specific reports it will be developed by the ABAPers.for this a Functional consultant should prepare the logics called as Functional Specification.
