Hi all,
1. How to find a system(hp unix) is unicode or non unicode system?
2. How many ways are there to find?

Hi,
U can check with command 'disp+work' at os level.
SAP level System->Status.

Hi,
Go to Menu System-> Status.
You will find one field Unicode (Yes or No).

Hi Nani,
Easiest way of finding it is , log in to SAP then select System --> Status , then check the value against Unicode System . You can see Yes if its a Unicode system.
The other way is checking the executables in your exe directory. Eg
tp -V |pg --> check the compilation mode . It says whether its Unicode or non Unicode.
Thanks
Prince Jose
PS: Points always appreciated
