Standalone DTR download

I am currently trying out the Visual Composer (VC) tool bundled with NW CE 7.1 trial version. It seems that VC requires DTR, but the trial version of CE 7.1 does not come with DTR. I do not have access to any other DTR. What are my options? Is there a standalone DTR download that I can use?

As far as I know the VC should not required DTR at all. It requres EP + Developer Studio only. Do you get an error message or somthing like that?

There is not standalone DTR download - to use the DTR you always have to install the NWDI, but depending on your need you may configure to use the DTR only (that is you have the CBS and CMS but you do not use them).

In the case with the NW CE 7.1, you can configure usage of SAP NetWeaver 2004s DTR installation.
