about return code in xi.

hi,

i have one simple question ..... like in abap if the program is successfull then return code is sy-subrc = 0. .... then what is the return code in xi when the interface is successfull.

we dont have such sy-subrc system fields in XI. in XI if we want see suces or failure login in to XI and tcode SXMB_MONI their you will find the status of that message sucess or failure. sucess = sy-subrc eq 0.

Go to SE11 and choose table SXMSMSTAT. It will describe you whats the status code if the message is success,failure etc..

Example Status 003 - Success.

There is nothing like that in XI. Onething you can do is try to develop alerts for adapter engine and integration engine. If something fails in either of this you will get an email else you will not get.
