How to create SynBO with BAPIs from R/3 server?

Hi,

Can I get any documents or links regarding Syncbo creation with BAPIs from another R/3 server. I think I have to create RFC destination for this. The steps for creating RFC destination in Netweaver 2004s is also helpful for me.

Also I need the required configurations also.

This will provide you with rules of creating BAPI wrappers and sample BAPI wrappers.

For creating RFC destination, contact your BASIS team member. You may not rights to do it by yourself. They will also tell the exact prodecure. It start with transaction SM59.

SO I have to create the RFC destination to the R/3 server.Then I have to specify this RFC destination while cretaing the SyncBO. Any special configurations I have to do somewhere when I proceed like this.

Hi Shemim,

The scenarios is like this:

If we have a different backend system and different server,

i.e. If your BAPI wrappers exists in System 'A' and Syncbos exist in System 'B'.

Then Create an RFC connection in system 'A'. (RFC connection from 'A' to'B').

Mention this RFC connection in the syncbo destination RFC.

Hi,

Hope this nformation will be helpful.

Create RFC connection

1. Transaction SM59. Provide the host name of R/3 server.

2. Test the connection.

Once RFC destination is created you can access the BAPI of R/3 from the Web AS.

Then next step is to create the Sync BO - Transaction MEREP_SBUILDER

There you can specify the RFC destination for the Sync BO.

Select the Sync BO type.

Sync BO will be created on the Web AS.

I have a doubt.

If my BAPI Wrappers are in System A & SyncBos in System B.

Where I have to create RFC Destination, whether in System A or System B?

Hi,

You will have to create RFC connections in SYSTEM B to SYSTEM A. and if you are using T51 SyncBOS then there is another RFC connection that needs to be done from SYSTEM A to SYSTEM B.

Once that RFC connection was made, just mention that RFC while designing the syncbo.
