I am new to XI, I have DPI box installed, after launching integration builder (SXMB_IFR) and click on Integration repository link I get a message
Do you want to open or save this file
Name: repository.jnlp
Type: Unkown File type
From: cor-str-app37
Then I have three options OPEN SAVE CANCEL
When I click on save it downloads a file with name repository.jnlp but nothing happens.
Same thing happens if I click on Integration Directory
Any help is appreciated.
I have Java Webstart installed on my laptop

Hi Chetanya,
Did you check your PATH (environment variables)??

Right click on "My Computer", select properties tab.
-> advance- click on Environment Variables at bottom.
under user defined variables or system variables, do you find PATH on left hand side..?
If yes, do you find C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\bin maintained against PATH?
If not select new under user defined, and add PATH and C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\bin.
check the jdk version. you might have a diff version.

hi pushkar
i added it, does not work, another thing i would like to share is that if from intergration builder page(sxmb_ifr) if i take the link by right clicking onto the "integeration repository" which is "http://cor-str-app37:50000/rep/start/repository.jnlp" and i run that in browser it opens a webpage with address
"C:\Documents and Settings\carora\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\01TL4EXY\repository[1].jnlp" and contents of page are
"SAP AG Repository Repository Repository webstart "
cheers
Hi Arora,
Right click on Integration Repository and copy the link in XI home page.
Next open java webstart and paste the link which you copied earlier and press enter.
You will find Start button in the bottom right corner. Click on the start button.
Integration Repository will open.

Sumit
Hi Chetanya,
Which browser are you using? If you are using IE then it could be some problem with your setting.. Open IE ..Click on
Tools->Internet Options->Advanced -> Select button Restore Defaults.
It should work.
If you are using Mozilla , etc that is how it happens. I believe you can open that jlnp file and it would then start IR/ID.

Sumit

Name: repository.jnlp
I guess your JAVA installation is incorrect. Try unistall and reinstall JDK 1.4.2. Any version will do...
