what does it mean by one time customer?
Hi,
One time customer is one who is a walk-in customer. Who most probably will buy goods in small quantities and quite often will not come back. And for this type of customers maintaining master data is not recommended. So there transaction will be recorded as one time customer.

Hi James
The explanation for onetime customer given by everybody is correct.
For onetime customer also, you need to have a separate account group and then you can create onetime customer , when you are initiating a transaction itself.
So the details will be only at transaction level. You can check VBPA which talks about the partner functions of the onetime customer. In VBPA with ADRC, you can get the address related details of the onetime customer.
Rwd if it helps.
For one time customer, there is no need to maintain any data as such. But if you want a statistical data like for example Material that is most often bought, what price etc. Then you can summarize it based on the account group for one time customer.
Thats why a seperate account group is created for that, in order not to mix them up with regular customers.

As the name suggest, One Time Customer. This Customer will not be a regular customer & Customer Master Data for such customer can be maintained with lesser details requirement.
