CCMS cancelled job monitoring

Hi all,

I've configured in RZ20 CCMS to auto react upon a background job failure and send emails through an auto-reaction method (usign FM SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT).

It all works fine. At each failed job I get an email.

What I would like to do though, is to restrict that to a few jobs that I consider critical.

How could I change the CCMS configuration so the alert is raised only for those jobs?

Hi Leonardo,

You could set up background job monitoring as per note 553953. This allows you to add specific jobs (generic specification possible) to table ALBTCMON. This then creates a new MTE under the the standard Background MTE. You could then assign the auto-reaction method to the History node of the MTE.
