Errors in Smartform

Hi,

I have been testing a proforma invoice and I get some error messages, but it does not really guide me to where the problem is:

Exception: Formatting error (from FM)

Message no: 323

Error in address output (name not filled) ????

Can anyone give me a clue of what this is ?

Hi,

If you are using the Address format of the smartform and if it is not passed with values at run time then it will show the error.

remove the address format of the same and use program lines to print the same

Hi Peter,

You might be printing Sold-to or Ship-to address on the Proforma Invoice. That record does not exist in the database Or you need to add leading zeros to Address no, by using Conversion Routine Conversion_Exit_Alpha_Input.

If neither sold-to or ship-to addresses exist in database. Do you by that mean that the extraction abap does include this or that it is litteraly not in the address database available for proforma inv. ?
