Hi,
Does anybody have experience with connecting Informatica with XI.
Is the File interface the only option?
I understand that Informatica and XI overlap with their functionality but the direction for the data that the company wants to take is
Informatica to XI to R3 for the inbound interface
Any help is appreciated.

Jose,
This depends on how you send data to XI. From informatica if you send file then you can pick the file Else you can use send to database and let xi pick it up from database. Also I think we have a plug in from informatica where you can send directly to SAP.
Check this document for some help on this integrations:

Jose,
I think you cant connect directly to Informatica ,but I know you can get flat file from Informatica and pick those flat files with XI and to SAP or push the dat required to a database and connect XI using JDBC adapter after installing required drivers in XI and then to SAP.
but I think handling with file is better.
