BAPI to create Shopping cart from portal

Hello Friends,

Bapi 'BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL' is used to create shopping cart from portal with other function modules

My question is which scenario it can be used classic or Extended classic?

It depends on your requirement. We can use mostly for ECS (Extended Classic scenario) .

we can use BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL in classic scenario

Is it only intended to be used in Extended Classic?
