my MIC is released and incomplete copy model which is used in 400+ Quality
plans.
now if i want to make some change in MIC, and want it in all the QPs.
hw can i do that?
whether i will have to change it all 400 plans individually or ther is any
simple way.
also tell me the application of
complete copy model,
incomplete copy model and
reference char.
what r the advantages and disadvantages of all?
pls explain in details

the easiest way to change the mics would be using QS27.
<b>Reference characteristic option</b>
If you use the master inspection characteristic in a task list or material specification, a reference is first created to this characteristic. You can, however, cancel this reference and change the data individually (for example, tolerances).
<b>Complete copy model option</b>
If you use the master inspection characteristic in a task list or material specification, the reference to this characteristic is canceled. You can therefore immediately change the data (for example, tolerances). You can then only use this master inspection characteristic as a copy model.
I<b>ncomplete copy model</b>
If you use the master inspection characteristic in a task list, this can only be used as a copy model. This type of master inspection characteristic cannot be used in a material specification.
