How can we use a material defined in BOM, in third party sales?

Can anybody give description in detail.Urgent please.

go to material in change mode using Transaction code MM02 and change the item category and general item category to BANS.

In item category TAS maintain BOM settings for field structural scope of material for BOm as per your requirement.
