XI Content - Own developmnet edit

G'day all...

I'm developing an XI-CONTENT for a 3rd party system to be deployed on customer's site

that has SAP,XI and that 3rd party system (planning to be - powered by Netweaver).

The idea is to save mapping and design time of objects in each implementation project that will match the 3rd party system business scenarios.

As we all know we are nor working in "labs" all the time and often a change in the structures/mappings is during implementation.

Problem is: when I have imported the SWCV to a different server It was not possible to edit it. (the edit button is grayed)

Please Advise..what does SAP supports regarding changes in imported SWCV

coming from different XI servers.

hi,

click on the namespace in IR

and check the two checks

(objects are modifable...)

at the bottom

you can change them and then everything will work

Once you have done what Michal has suggested, please note that the first time you try to edit, it will give you a warning saying that the system is not the original system, are you sure you want to edit. Just say Ok to that, and after that things should be fine.
