How To Register RFC's in Visual Admin For R/3 Server

Hi Experts,

I Want to Register SAPSLDAPI,,,LCRSAPRFC RFC's In Visual Admin For R/3 Server With Out Disturbing The XI Server Registered RFC's .

There is No Option To Add The New RFC's In to the Visual Admin .......

How to Include those Also in the List With R/3 Server Details ????

HI Prateek,

I Have SAPPLDAPI ,,,LCRSAPRFC Destinations in Visual Admin With XI Details

If I want to Register SAPSLDAPI,,LCRSAPRFC Destinations in Visual Admin With R/3 Details Means I Am Thinking that I Have to Follow The Bellow Procedure.

1) Launch Visual Admin->>Cluster>>Server>>Services>>Jco RFC Provider

2) Select on Any one of the RFC's Present in the Jco RFC Provider

3) Remove the XI Server Details in those Fields And Give the SAP R/3 Host name

& Gateway service & Client & System number.

4) And then Finally Click on SET.

If I Followed Your Procedure Means What Will Happen )

This Doc is Saying this Only...

It Means The New Values will Over Write the Old Values Or Two RFC's Will Be There In the Visual Admin ?????

That Means The Existed RFC For XI System And The New RFC For R/3 System, Both Will be there Or Not ????

Hi Rajesh,

When you select the Program id on the left hand side.

Then i believe on the Right side apart from changing other parameters you can change the program id too.

If you change the program id then a new program will be created.

If you only change other parameters and not the program id then the same will be updated.

If We Change the Program ID & Click on SET Means It's Creating a New Program ID .

Here I Changed All the Values in the Newly created PID According to the R/3 Server Details

Here I Changed Gateway Host ,Gateway Service ,Application Server Host, Client, As Per the R/3 Details.

But Which User name And The Password I Need To Give Here ???

For XI Side RFC"s I Have PI_JCO_RFC As User And PWD is Master PWD.

Please Let me Know

If I Give the Same User Name And the PWD Which is in the XI Program ID's To the Newly Created Program ID Means Its Giving Error.
