Free goods

Hi all

Here is a situation....

Sales order is created 1st November for 200 tooth pastes 100 brushes free of goods(2+1 free goods).At the time of delivery on 15th November you have shortage of brushes by 40. offer closed on 15th November . How do you solve in this scenario?

Hi Ipsit.,

Eventhough there is a shortage of 40 brushes on the delivery date Nov 15 th,You should consider it as special condition and give the 40 free goods to the customer even at later date

Gurus correct me if i am wrong

you can solve this issue in VBN1 free goods condition record creation..where you can select the free goods control...as your requirement...

Hi Ipshit,

I think offer should be based upon the day on which customer ordered.

let there be an automatic availability check for the brushes also and also for the main item.The system would deliver at the latest date when both paste and brushes are available.

Posting date for the goods issue should be before 15th November.
