partial delivery

can any one explain me How to make partial deliveries?

Hi Ganesh - This is set on the customer master profile. You can see it on the customer master shipping tab where partial deliveries details are listed. Leave the partial delviery per item as blank and set max partial deliveries (max 9). This will allow sales orders for this sold to to drop partial deliveries based on the confirmed schedule lines.

If a sales order has all the line items confirmed for the same date, and you want to drop only certain quantities...you can either do it by VL04 (due list) and before saving the delivery, make necesary changes to the delivered quantities. Other way, would be to go to the schedule line, select it and press availability button on the top to change the delivery proposals for it to take multiple schedule lines.

Hi Ganesh,

Please reduce the delivery quantity manuallly while creating the delivery as compare to the sales order.

Then the partial delivery will be created.
