Hi,

There are some differences in both, the TCD & SAPGUI mode of recording.

1. TCD is good if not many activex controls are involved in the transaction. It doesn't require any GUI to playback. So it is fast.

2. SAPGUI whereas requires GUI for playback the recorded script. It is slower compare to TCD mode. It is way by which Enjoy transactions can be recorded and rerun successfully.

Find the following blog written by me for more details -

eCATT - An Introduction (PART I)

Hope this helps.

Hi Raji,

It is better fo for SAPGUI recording, coz, its having so may advantages as compared to TCD type of recording,

okay, coming to ur point,

TCD can not support njoy transactions, where as we can do it with SAPGUI,

TCD can not support, if a transaction having activeX controls and those are mandatory for the transaction, where as SAPGUI supports,

we can run the script in hilighted mode in SAPGUI, but not in TCD,

parameterization is simple in SAPGUI,

SAPGUI suports checks like GETGUI, CHEGUI.....etc..

hope this helps u...
