Could you please provide me.. if any Case Studies will be available on XI..
I am new to XI and would like to do the Case study on any scenario...like file to idoc or idoc to file....etc.,

1)Where the IDOC's exactly fit for the scenario and What is the Scenario?
2)Where the webservices (HTTP,SOAP) exactly fit for the scenario and What is the Scenario?

Hi,
It depends on the business requirement.
for e.g if you are implementing the scenarios related to SRM, then you will be using scenarios like PO creation, Invoice etc.
So it depends on the business process involved in that organization.
Generally IDOCs are used if you are integrating standard scenarios (Financial documents, PO creation etc..So that you will be doing less customization
and Webservices are used for many a times with B2B scenarios which involves services hosted in the internet..
