I have not found this question addressed anywhere. There is documentation on using XMLA client from Web Dynpro but no comment on the model. What are the best options for this?

I am not sure if you can expose this as a Webservice. If you can you should expose this as a WS and then import in Webdynpro as a Adaptive WebService model.
