Rule Determination based on characteristics

Hi All,

Is there a feature in RBATP to do Rules Determination based on a characteristic (attached to class type 300 (Variants) ) value?

The requirement is that for certain characteristic value, the manufacturing could be done only in a certain plant and not at other plants.

I did not find variant configuration characteristics in the field catalogue. There are some characteristic fields in the catalogue but they are available for batches.

If anyone can throw some insight, it will be very helpful.

HI Sanjeev.

It is possible to add fields to the field catalog. It is something I have done with an ABAP colleague before. It wasn't for characteristics, and I cannot remember the details but if you want I can find out.
