Hi Brendon,

What information are you looking for? For example, the most common SD archiving objects are:

SD_VBAK sales orders

RV_LIKP deliveries

SD_VBRK billing documents

common MM archive objects are:

MM_ACCTIT MM- Accounting interface posting data

MM_MATBEL material documents

MM_EKKO purchasing documents

MM_EBAN purchasing requisitions

MM_EINA purchase info records

For SD/MM archiving, the documents need to be business complete (these rules change per archive object).

The PBS CSD module covers SD_VBAK, SD_VBRK, RV_LIKP, SD_VTTK (SD Transport) and LE_HU (Handling Units).

The PBS CMM moducle covers MM_EKKO, MM_EBAN, MM_EINA and MM_REBEL (MM Invoice Documents).

The PBS modules allow acces to archived data and it is displayed how it looked prior to archiving. Also, if you implement the whole suite of PBS modules, the document flow is retained for both archived data and non-archived data.

F56A - Customer Archiving

VKA1 - Create archive - Pricing Condition Record

VARA - Archive Documents - Sales

& so on .............

We require to archiving documents / data to reduce the data load on the system. Normally old data that are not of use are normally archived.
