MDM Import port automatic

Hi,

When We import data using port manually,able to import data in MDM.

but,When I changed it to automatic. It picks the file from ready folder and write something like this in log file. but,not imported anything in mdm.

Can anybody tell me whats exactly wrong from this log....

Hi Ramu,

the import action of your import map is set to <b>skip</b>:

Skip means that MDIS does not import the record. You should check this in your import map usig the Import Manager. If you change your import action, do not forget to save the map!

Hi,

I saved Record Matching step as Create. But,when I reopen the same map its by default taking skip only.

When We say automatic in inbound port,Is there any settings required mds.ini file to change action from skip to create or replace.

If you would like to view the log in a readable format, you've to copy the stylesheet "MDM_Log.xsl" (it can be found in the directory where MDM is installed) into your log-directory of your port.

Making a double-click on the log-FIle then should display the file in a nice readable format and you should be able to find out, what happened during your import.
