SAR File not able to import for TDS Script form

Dear Friends,

We downloaded sap note from market place for TDS Script printing

We followed these steps:

1. We extract the files from the sar file using sapcar.exe

2. we got two files.

a. Co file

b. Data file

3. We kept the files in the respective place in the server.

4. Then we started the import process. It is showing that the import process is running by way of symbol.

We are not able to import the TDS Script SAR file.

I would really appreciate for giving the suggestions.

Hi,

Did you create the namespace /TDSAG/ ?

This must be done before you can import the TDS software....

Hi,

You can define namespace as below :

1. Start transaction SE03

2. Select 'Display/change' namespace

3. Create 'new entry'

4. namespace /TDSAG/

5. Namespace role 'C'

6. You have to enter the repair license you have registered.

7. save

Then you will be able to imprt your transport request...

Hi Satya,

Thanks for giving the procedure for maintaining the namespace.

In marketplace i am not able to register the repair license . I approched in the following way

key and request->Devlopment namespaces -> Request for name space.

I am getting a message that the company is already having the license.

But the /TDSAG/ does not exist in the SE03.

Can you guide me the path in what way we can get repair license

I would really appreciate your suggestions.

Hi,

That means someone already have registered the namespace in OSS for your company. To see the repair key for your company pls display it in OSS as per below:

key and request->Devlopment namespaces >generate key for namespaces

Here you should be able to see /TDSAG/ registered for your company. Click on /TDSAG/ to see detail and you will see the 'repair key'.

Now, with that 'repair key' you will need to create SE03 entry as per the procedure I sent you before.

Dear Satya,

We have defined the namespace with the id of /TDSMSGR/, becasue /TDSAG/ has been used by some one. so we have created in this manner for TDS then the system has accepted and has issued the licenses. The same information incorporated at SE03. Then we have imported the sar file. But it shows an imported symbol. But the imported happens with errors, when i review the log.

The error log displays a message as follows.

Ended with return code: ===> 8 <===

The 8 log indicates : Transport carried out with errors.

Individual objects could not be transported successfully.

Examples:

- The original object was not overwritten

- A repaired object was not overwritten

please could you provide me the suggestion in this regard.

Hi Narayan,

Try to import with force mode ...

i.e. activate the following option while import from STMS in the 'option' tab:

1. Import the Transport request again

2. Overwrite originals

3. Overwrite unconfirmed repairs.

Then import should go ahead..
