want to copy or send several documents from a multilevel bill of material

The ideal program would be to explode the multi-level Bill of Material (similar to CS11 or CS12); all of the documents that are associated with each level of the multi-level BOM would be listed; the user would then choose from the list the documents that they want to copy or send out; once executed, the files from the selected documents would be either copied to the desktop or other designated place or attached to an e-mail ready to be sent out to an e-mail address (similar to the Distribution function).

how can we do this, is there any configuration for this or we have to develop an abap programme

there is no configuration ,you need to copy the cs12 to zcs12 and do the modification..

i did not understand what do u mean by copy cs12 to zcs12 and do the modification. how can you do that.

Hi Sunil,

I mean ABAP Developer will copy SAP Standard Program to custom program.

then he will modify the Custom program as per Ur requirement.

There is no Configuration at all. I have done one type development where use enter multiple material in selection and he will get detail output for each material.

i am a SAP DMS Consultant ,does anything i have to do from my side. i will prepare functional spec and provide to the ABAP guy.

Hi Sunil,

Explian functionality to developer and he might be know techincally.

He should use FM to get BOM Functionality :

1 BOM Function Module : CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

2. Email FM : SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 or SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1

3. Excel file - GUI_DOWNLOAD

Main tables under BOM :

STPO - BOM Item

STKO - BOM Header

MAST : Material to BOM Link

You can prepare Functional spec based on above information
