Track connection to Runtime System

Former Member

Hi We have created new Track and able to work with that( crating DC checkout/checkin/transport). But the problem is that Track is not connected to

runtime system ( Portal ). We are not able to see the Deployed DCs in Portal.

We are deploying DCs(WebDynpro), unable to see in Portal.

The problem might be Track is not connected to runtime system.

Could any body figure out where we did wrong and can tell me how to Connect

the Track to Runtime System.

Thanks

Hello Sreeni,

the where use check tells you only, in which other track this specific runtime system is

configured - in your case you will see nothing here, since you only have one track defined.

on the NWDI system go to http:<hostname>:<port>/TCS/Deployer and see if there is any request waiting to be deployed in to runtime system

Hi, I am using only one Track.

And configured the Runtime System properly.

But when I check the 'Where-used check', no data available for this

(This runtime system is used in the following CMS domains)

Thanks for your reply

Hi Sreeni,

While creating the track you need to define the runtime systems. You can do this from the Landscape Configurator. On the runtime system tab, please check if you have provided the correct credentials (the SDM host, password ect). Also make sure that the disable auto deployment is not checked.

Another check you can try is in the track data. Here you will see the list of developed SCs in the track. Make sure the exclude from deployment is not checked for the SC under interest.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Normally you "connect" your track to your runtime systems by defining the runtime

systems for your track. You find this inside your CMS-WebUI, select the Landscape configurator and your track, and then switch to the tab "Runtime systems" (next to the tab

"Track Data"). You define the runtime systems here. And you don't need to define all

stages of runtime systems (maybe you don't have a special test system),leave the types of

systems you don't have blank.

You need to go into the CMS, select the track, and configure the connections to the various runtime systems:
