Hi

Please find the answers below

>>>1) From Where U Will Get the File ,,,Who Will Give that File to U ???

The file will come from any of your clients/customers.

>>>>2) Is It is a Sample File Or Real time Data ( Final Data )???

Real time data

>>>3) Is it Always We will get XML Or TXT Also ????

it can even be txt / csv

>>>4)Where You Will keep that File ???? Means In Your Local Machine Or On the XI Machine ???

The file should be hosted on to a file server on XI machine/ any other machine in your network if you specify the option as "NFS". It can be also be hosted on any remote ftp server. If so, you specify the options as "ftp" in file adapter

5) Is ther Any Machanisim Behind this Placing of File on the XI Server Machine ???

It can be manually done/ the files can be created programatically by say a client Program

Hi Babu

<i>1) From Where U Will Get the File ,,,Who Will Give that File to U ???</i>

it is depend upon the scenario. Sometimes we will get the file from the 3rd party system. In this case we will use either nfs or ftp to access the file...

<i>2) Is It is a Sample File Or Real time Data ( Final Data )???</i>

For development purpose, we use the sample file

<i>3) Is it Always We will get XML Or TXT Also ????</i>

some time we will get xml, text or csv files etc. It is depend on the scenario

<i>4)Where You Will keep that File ???? Means In Your Local Machine Or On the XI Machine ???</i>

sometimes in our local machine some times in the XI Server.. depends on the scenario

<i>5) Is ther Any Machanisim Behind this Placing of File on the XI Server Machine ???</i>

Using FTP or WEbservices

<i>6) Is there Any Shared Folder on the Server will be there for U Or How It will be there ???</i>

No

Hi naga,

In a real time scenario..

1 . File will be dumped to a folder from R3 which is mapped to XI by basis team.

2. It will be real time data

3. It can be both ( txt / xml )

4. It will be in the drive of R3 which is mapped as a folder in XI ( NFS )

5. It is usually triggered by an R3 program ( R3 - > XI )

6 It depends on the scenario how folders are mapped .

Hope this solved your questions

Thanks

<i>4)Where You Will keep that File ???? Means In Your Local Machine Or On the XI Machine ???</i>

On FTP server or on XI file system

<i>5) Is ther Any Machanisim Behind this Placing of File on the XI Server Machine ???</i>
