Problem in Enabling Syncbo & Downloading Meta XML file

Hi,

I have created a S01 type simple syncbo with two bapi wrappers - getlist & getdetails, I am facing a problem in enabling the syncbo. When I check the enable check box & save, getting saved successfully message, but the check is vanishing from the check box, with merep_pd.

Actually which is the correct sequence

first - create syncbo using merep_sbuilder, then generate it

second - enable the syncbo using merep_pd

third - create MCD for the syncbo

When I try to download the Meta XML file, getting the popup with the syncbo, but the XML file is not downloading - Getting message Action Cancelled.

Hi Shemin,

This one is a strange problem.

Kindly check if 'SyntaxErrors' or 'Inconsistencies' columns are marked against the syncBO. Also, go to the merep_sbuilder do a 'BAPI wrapper interface check'

(Ctrl + F8).

The sequence is correct.

You have to select the MCD which you have created in the pop-up by clicking on the left-most column ( the row gets highlighted) and then enter or click on the 'tick'..

Thanks fo your fast response.

I have done as per your suggestion, even now with merep_pd, when I enable the syncbo, getting a message - Saved Successfully, but when I again take merep_pd, there is no check mark in the Enable field.

As Rahul's suggestion in another thread, I tried to execute replicator, but its saying to select a line even I am selecting the corresponding one.

Another thing, I have a doubt with MCD also, after giving Component Type, Runtime Environment, specifying the syncbo, Inst Sequence, when I try to save the MCD, it asks in a popup to Include MCD in transport Request, What I have to do with this also?

Hi Shemin,

Regarding the MCD, say no for the transport request and press ok for all the following pop-ups.

For the earlier problem, replication need not be done for S01 syncBos.

Can you provide me the WAS configuration info?

Hi Rahul,

I checked MCD for errors(Ctrl F2), there I got a popup with the following

Webserver is not available

Webpath is not available

Localpath is not available

MiniApp relate to devclass $TMP

Language is not available

Framework is not available

MCD is not connected to the transport system

Rest others are OK.

I am using Netweaver 2004s Release 7.

Hi Shemim,

Thats ok. That is fine.

Try to check the BAPI wrappers interface check as suggested by Rahul.

Check the syntaxfor syntax error for syncbos.

Try to generate the syncbo.

Check if bapi wrappers are properly activated with out errors.

Hi Shemim,

Not an issue. You need update the MCD component in the webconsole or mobile administrator. After that this messages will not arise.

The problems which you are facing seem to have nothing to do with MI if you do not any inconsistencies or syntax errors. Kindly confirm with your BASIS team whether there are any memory issues or such other issues with the WAS.

Hi Rahul,

As you said that was some other problem, I think its my GUI problem, I have contacted my basis team. I downloaded the XML file successfully in another machine.

Hi Shemim,

Once the S01 syncbo is designed try to generate it and check for syntax error.

If evry thing is fine.

Then enable the syncbos in Merep_pd.

Then create an MCD under MI_MCD transaction and goto merep_sbuilder and download the XML.(against the created MCD).
