Hello Madhan,

you should consider using Single Sign On (SSO) for that.

Please refer to ...

Security on SDN

Security Home: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/security

Security Forum:

Product Security on the SAP Service Marketplace

Hi,

create a shortcut. Check this blog how to (and read the comments too).

Hello,

the point with this approach is (read at the end of the blog Peter mentioned)

"Please note that it is not save to store the password like this. It's better to enable single-sign-on to pass the credentials automatically. SSO also works with the SAPGUI shortcuts (SSO must be active for the system ID in SAP Logon Pad)."

Hi,

if you don't know the parameters, just log on to your SAP system, then click the third icon form the right (the one with the 'shortcut arrow'). Check this link in the previous mentioned blog.

BUT, I would never ever put my password into it...as Rolf-Martin emphasizes 'between the lines'

Peter

P.S.: If you insist, read note 146173, but don't blame us you haven't been warned...
