Stability of Release SCM 5.0

Hi All,

We are currently in the process of evaluation of SCM 5.0, mailnly APO. Any pointers on SCM 5.0 stability. Any possible online references/documents/case studies/docs related to benefits over Ver 4.1 will be highly appreciated.

Hi Sachin

The best resource to evaluate the changes is the release notes that you can find along with the SCM 5.0 help

I remember seeing some presentations on SAP or SDN on the enhancements in SCM 5.0. Will try to locate it for you.

I havent seen any issue with stability and there are some noticeable performace improvements in some areas with functions to improve performance if you choose to use those.

There are some issues that you will notice in the sticky thread on Upgrade right on top of this forum

Hi,

We faced some issues on SCM5.0 SP8 related to Intractive demand Planning - user Interface New functionality File upload, In Production Planning - Product view.

We have recently applied SP9 and Intractive demand Planning related Issue got resolved.

We should look forward for SP10.

We are using SCM 5.0 SP8 and there are still bugs, but minimal.

It is stable, but still some bugs but nothing out of the ordinary.

We are using SNP and DP only. So not sure about PP/DS.
