Storage bin AUFNAHME does not exist

Hi Everyone,

I am getting an error message while initializing the material: "Storage bin PWH 998 AUFNAHME does not exist." Here, PWH is my warehouse number. I don't know what is 998. Please explain this give the solution to this error. Can anybody send me the detailed configuration document? No PDFs and links please. They are too lengthy.

Hello,

Go to transaction LS01N and Give here

Warehouse no =PWH, Storage type = 998, Storage BIN = AUFNAHME

(The storage bin (sometimes referred to as a "slot") is the smallest addressable unit in a warehouse. It identifies the exact location in the warehouse where goods can be stored.

A storage bin can be further sub-divided into bin sections. Several different materials ( quants) can be stored in one bin at the same time.

Hello

I am having same problem ('Storage bin Z99 does not exist (check your entry)'). But I created the storage bin z99 thru LS01N. But it still gives me the error. Any more settings need to be done?

Hi,

That is interim bin. Create the interim bins using the transaction code LX20.
