JCo's for selection ?

Hello All,

When I create a Model using an Adaptive RFC type I need to define the

1. Logical System Name for Model Instances and

2. Default Logical System Name for RFC Metadata.

For this I've already created the JCo destinations.

But how should I make them Available in the dropdown list box across the above 2 ?

I'm able to see the defaule values in the Dropdown list box as :

WD_RFC_METADATA_DEST and

WD_MODELDATA_DEST

In the same way I want to see the JCO Destination which I created the last time.

Can any one tell me how to acheive this ?

Hello,

U r right buddy.

But I don't want to do this typing every time.

Bcoz I'll be using the same JCO destinations every time and so I want to select them from the dropdown , Just like the defaults which I mentioned earlier.

My Qn is how to make them available in the Dropdown List box ?

I hope I'm clear in explaining my requirement !!!

Hi,

The easiest is not to create the Destinations in the Web Dynpro Content Explorer, I usually rather fill in the name in the dropdown. Then the destinations are created once you deploy your application and all you need to do is configure them.

Hi Deepu,

With Which names you configured JCO Names?

If it with default names, you have choice to select from DD.

Otherwise you have enter manually.

Hi Sridhar,

+ Otherwise you have enter manually.+

Do I need to enter manually everytime ´?

Is there any possibility to select from the dropdown after the entries are configured the first time after deployment ?

Hi Deepu,

Yes. You have to enter everytime manually.

If you are not used default names of JCO.

I guess it won't come in DropDowns.
