HI Friends,
Can anyone of you help me with a step by step, complete, installation procedure of 4.7(IDES).

Installing IDES on windows.
1. Create a partation C:\ --20 gb
2. D:\-----100 GB.
3. E:\ create other drive for your own data.
4.Increase the page file size 4gb(other than C:\ & D:\)( for better performance)
6.Dumps all the the DVD's.
set o/s confiaration like SID. N/W adapter, Ip address, Add the address to etc file In program files.
a)installation master
b)kernel
c) IGS
d)export dvd's(4 #s)
e)Oracle dvd with patches
7) install the oracle and oracle patches,
{ while installing oracle it will ask to choose new database..PLEASE SELECT "NO".
😎 install central instance first.
9) install Database installation.

Hi Ravi,
1. Install j2sdk-1_4_2_12-windows-i586-p and set envirnment variables.
2.Install Oracle 9.0 and apply support patches.
3.Goto setup.exe and start Installation. It will create entries in START.
4. Start installation with sapinst.exe and select central instance
5. Specify SID, Instance number, local Installation,Trans directory location, Kernel path,Database SID. Once complition of central instance restart at OS level and start Database Instance.
5. Specify export dvd's path, kernel etc..
