Smartform: logo printing.

Hi,

I have attached a logo in my smartform. In print preview, am able to view the logo but when I give the same for printing its not printing the logo. What might be the problem? Do I have to do any printer settings specific to this?

Hi Surekha,

Did you upload the Logo to be printed in the smartform first in SE78 transaction code or are you using an existing Logo from SE78?

I have never come across such a problem... Still i suggest you to check the following:

1. Upload the logo again through SE78 transaction code from your desktop and

give it a different name.

2. Make sure the window where you are planning to place your logo is a bigger

than the size of your logo.

3. Press F8 in SE78 tcode and view the logo that you just imported from desktop

in your SAP system.

4. Go to the smartform create a window larger than the size of your logo.

5. Right click the window and choose create Graphic and upload the logo.

We do not have to make any extra printer setting to be able to print a logo...

Do I have to create window for the logo? I have created graphic for the page directly. Does that create any problem?

Hi,

In SMARTFORMS, u need not cretae a sepaerate window for LOGO, Graphic NODE is sufficient where the LOGO will be displayed.

No logo is getting Printed?

Can u check:

whether the LOGO u r printing is color / black & white.

If LOGO is in color and the Printer u r going to give print is Color printer, then i think it wont print LOGO.

First disply the logo in Black and white and Print it on Black and white Printer.

Revert back if any issues.

Hi Surekha,

It is always advisible to create the logo in the window as it would be easy to track the same when you want to edit it.

Always enclose all the elements(text, address, logo) into windows and name them appropriately.
