APIs and BAPIs for iPPE

We are considering using iPPE for the basis of an estimating bill of material for concept phase of the product lifecycle. We will be interfacing these in from another system. Is there any documentation available that explains the use of and interplay between the iPPE BAPIs and APIs.

I'm thinking of something similar to the Note that explains the use of all of the Engineering Workbench function modules.

the BAPIs for the iPPE you can find in Function Group IPPEBAPI_CMP. Further details you find in the function module documentation in the system.

Thanks for the response. In follow up, i've read through the majority of that function group and the documentation has been fairly helpful. I've also coded a simple test program (based up on the code provided in the documentation of the Structure Node Maintain API).

My main problem has to do with getting and maintaining the relationships between Structure Nodes and Component Variants.
