Field selection in the shopping card

Hello,

I need to modify the field selection of the shopping card; to hidde fields/zones, to put as mandatory some fields, etc.

Someone know if I can do it with the customizing? Where I can customize the fields selection of the shopping card?

Hi,

If you are referring to the Search screen of the SC,i am afraid you cant do much about it as there is no BADI for that part of the screen.Also if you modify the template (BBPSEARCH) ,that may affect other screens as well.

Also you can try using screen variant for this.

IF you need to make some of the fields mandatory for the SC in the main screenn i.e. BASIC DATA,ACCOUNTING DATA etc then you can use the badi BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.

If you need to hide fields/buttons ,you can use the BADI "BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".

To hide standard fields on the shopping cart - use the BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI / BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI Business Add-Ins using SE18 Transaction. <b>Please read the relevant SAP Standard documenation, before implemnting the BADI</b>.

To hide customer-specific fields on the shopping cart - use the BBP_CUF_BADI_2.

To mark fields as mandatory, use the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.

Also you can go for the Screen variants, using SHD0 Transaction, incase it suits your requirement.
