Hi Friends,
Hope u r doing fine .
I m a ABAPer having around 4 yrs of expierence .i want to change my skill to SAP - XI .How far it suits me and i want to know what are the prior requisite to learn SAP - XI ? So that it will be easy to learn and also catch XI effectively.
I need ur suggestion before changing the skill. Bcoz i don't want to be in this line (SAP-ABAP) for long time .I enhance my carrer in such a field which is having no more coding .
Thx and Regds,

HI Bapi
Welcome to XI Family....
100% suits for you..
<i>
prior requisite to learn SAP - XI</i>
For this Any programming Language with OOPs concepts is enought to learn XI. It is easy to learn XI.
If you know java then it will be an added advantage....
Check this.. it is a good start for XI....

Hi Bapi,
Hmmm..so bugged up of coding..eh???? well even in XI, coding will be there but, to some extend only. + Have some basic idia about Java (basic codes, SAX , DOM)
A lot of things to be learned in XI, but as starter, just go ahead and study the basics, terminologies, architecture. Below links are exactly for the starters : Even I was in ABAP before XI. If you have worked on RFC, BAPI, it would be helpful in future in XI.

Hi,
Welcome to XI world...

100% it suits you.
>>what are the prior requisite to learn SAP - XI ?
Nothing specific pre-requisites, if you know java it's an added advantage, as you are already an ABAPer, you can easily cope up with XI.
check the following threads to know more abt XI
