Is it possible for XI 2.0 to connect to ECC 6.0 upgraded from SAP R/3 4.6?

Hi,

I just wanted to know whether it is possible for XI 2.0 to be used with ECC 6.0 which is upgraded from SAP R/3 4.6.

If yes, could you forward some links so as to know how.

hi,

the very same way as you did with SAP 4.6 (IDOCs for example)

nothing has to be changed

That SAP R/3 4.6 is already connected to XI 2.0 and we want to upgrade it to ECC 6.0 ..

Is that Possible..? Wont there be any additional configuration needed ?

yes

if you use IDOCs then you don't need anything special

Hi,

with RFC it's the same

and with Proxy - you couldn't have any proxies with R3 4.6 so no need to upgreade:)
