Dear ESTG Team,

There are 2 ways of achieving this.

1. Either you authorize users ( or a set of users ) to create messages in Solution manager system for Non-SAP Components. This means you will have to have 1 to 1 user mapping for each non sap system user to 1 user in Solution Manager and allow them to create messages for these non sap Systems.

2. You create something like an Helpdesk team and on the first level for the Non SAP Components have a sub team to enter the messages in solution manager.

3. Use IC web Client or the webgui and make the url to this public so that everyone can access the url and create messages.

Hope that the above reply helps.

Hi

We are testing the Service Desk functionality for Non-Sap applications now and have several questions:

1. How can we adjust the system landscape (SMSY) and IBASE settings (IB52) for an opportunity of creating messages without necessity of input client and choosing SAP-component

2. Can we create different types of Service Desk messages from ABA-messages depending on the system chosen by the user? We want to use different directories of "Category" and " Subject".

3. Where can we find some information or guide about customizing of Service Desk for not-SAP systems?

4. Here we found the link to information about Service Desk XT (, pages 41-45). Where can we get more information about it, does anybody know something about this package? Maybe somebody already uses it?

Thanks in advance
